Perfectly replaces OE thermostat and works great. Make sure you backfill the radiator hose before connecting to rad, it will hold a ton of air if you don't.

Item quoted me is not good, torqued the thermostat bolts to 28nm housing would not seal wasted so much antifreeze trying to get a seal 48792 should be the part has a much chunkier rubber seal 48799

Used this on a 2009 Charger R/T. Has the light duty radiator and runs 195 at most. I've used these with the Severe duty cooling equipped cars and they will run at 188 degrees on a 95 degree day in traffic. Very consistent temperature also.

Please dont waste your time with motorad! I have installed 2 of these thermostats in the last 3 months. Second one just failed obviously while still under warranty. Such a bad product that I won't even making a claim. Waste of money and, even worse, time. I will be smashing with a hammer and telling everyone I can to stay away!
