Valvoline MaxLife Multi-Vehicle ATF is a full-synthetic formulation with advanced additives to prevent the major causes of transmission breakdown and help extend transmission life. Developed to help prevent leaks, maximize transmission performance, reduce transmission wear, and maintain smooth shifting longer than conventional fluids. It is suitable for use in a broad range of ATF applications including most Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, VW & Audi. Best ATF I've used!
I switched from [...] super tech Dex III to Valvoline MaxLife Dex/Merc in all 3 of my GM vehicles (4t40e, 4t45e, 4L60e transmissions, respectively). The shifts are quicker, arent as 'soft' anymore (mostly thanks to GM's torque management), and Ive found the fluid to stay in great condition even after 50,000 miles. The trans in my Envoy runs 15f degrees cooler with the Valvoline Maxlife Dex/Merc in it. I bought the fluid on the website here and used a coupon code, then picked it up at the store - turned out to be cheaper than anywhere else around.

Would not use it in my wheelbarrow
I would not ever use this product again, I think if I'd left it in my 2004 Impala it would have caused the transmission to go out, it did'nt shift firm and would hesitate and jerk when starting out sometimes. After 500 miles I drained it back out and replaced the filter again and put plain Castrol Dex/Merc fluid back in and the transmission went back to shifting properly and not hesitating after about 100 miles.
