Why ad photo use differs from actual bottle
Very confusing, if you look closely at the photo of the label it states "For ABS, disc and Drum brake systems". I bought it, got home and when I looked at the label on the bottle I bought it specifically says "Not for ABS, disc and Drum brake systems". What gives?
I switched over to Dot 5 silicone on my 1974 Corvette about 25 to 30 years ago. My calipers have the stainless steel liners. Just recently my driver side front caliper started leaking. I bought a kit to rebuild the caliper seals with o-rings. The o-ring kit says warranty voided if used with Dot 5. Why? I am not going to change brake fluids. Would it be better to use seals again instead of o-rings? they say o-rings are better. Thank You

Hi Ray, happy to help you! Each brake caliper or brake drum has a bleeder valve (or bleeder screw) used to bleed brakes which allows air to be expelled from the steel brake lines. If the bleeder valve gets damaged or knocked loose, it can cause brake fluid to leak. O-Rings are the best choice for high-pressure applications as they can withstand extreme amounts without failure. While both sealing devices can function in a wide range of temperatures, gaskets are better suited for extreme temperature environments. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.
