    This is the second walker cat I put on my Subaru. The first on lasted 2 years and 3 months (about 60,000 miles). It is a decent product but will not last much longer than 2 years. Have replaced the other pipes of the exhaust with walker and they also only last about 2 years. So if you buy Walker exhaust parts, expect to replace them.

    lasted 4 years,then the heat shield rusted off,four little spot welds that held it rusted out and fell off,poor design,has a five year warranty,i will take back to replace it,but i have to do the job again

    Had a garage install this. It cleared the trouble code. Very well constructed unit. Only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because it not designed to accept the factory heat shields, but, it appears to have just enough heat shield integrated into the design to satisfy. But, the factory heat shields were starting to rattle anyway,and, it's a cleaner piece of equipment on the car now, so I like it better. Don't forget to buy gaskets and bolts for the replacement job. A garage installed it for $80 total. Everybody happy.

    Mount socket for oxygen sensor doesn't align with OEM heat shield hole on Subaru Legacy (misaligned to the front). This is the second converted (same manufacturing part number) I purchased to repair my car. This one looks like little shorter than one I'm replacing.

    Seems to function just fine. Fits, exhaust doesn't smell anymore, and the check engine light has remained off for a few hundred miles. Next step is to have the emissions checked to verify it's functioning properly. It fit, with a little persuasion. The manifold flanges were slightly (~1/16th of an inch) out of alignment and made it difficult to attach the second side once the first side was loosely attached. It came with the three required gaskets and new nuts, but seemed to be missing some of bolts, only came with 3. I had to re-use 6 bolts from the previous manifold to attach it to the engine. The OEM bolt is fully threaded, these have a section without thread in the middle which makes it easier to tighten the bolt in without double nutting.

    Product was packaged well but came out of the box with a slight bow in it. It was visible to the eye and I measured the amount of bow that was slightly off center and it was 1/4". It didn't affect the fit and there was no damage to it, but it did surprise me that it wasn't straight, and it wasn't a cheap cost either.

    It was supposed to be an EXACT FIT for a 1997 VW Jetta GT. I guess you could make it fit if you wanted to weld a flange on it... That doesn't sound much like EXACT FIT to me.

    Didn't match up with the exhaust pipe. The angle was well-off, so much that if I had paid a shop straight the exhaust to match the angle, the exhaust pipe would have been too high--not enough clearance. Simple didn't fit as it should. Had to return it.

    This is supposed to be an exact fit for a 2010 Subaru Forester X Limited. It is not. The bend by the 3 bolt flange is too sharp, causing the pipe to hit the frame. The flanges then do not meet and the 2 bolt flange will not meet the rear Y pipe. Walker part fits.
