So Far So Good
I mostly like this catalytic converter because it took of my CEL. It has no real advantage over stock but for that price you won't find a better cat IMO. Its a bit louder than stock if you like things quite but i have a complete performance exhaust with this cat, and now my VW Jetta 2.0 sounds like a BMW M3. Your passengers in the back may not like it if you have other exhaust work, but you will be certainly turning heads in a good way if you do. With a stock exhaust it will probably sound just fine.

Great online service, terrible delivery
Just want to start off by saying that the online customer service specialist I talked to was wonderful! He even got me a $40 discount on this item. But then the trouble began. I did order over a holiday so some delay was to be expected. However, I was sent a delivery confirmation on Dec. 31 (2 days after ordering)and told the order had shipped. Payment was withdrawn from my account and no further information was ever available for me. I had 2 different customer service calls where I was provided absolutely no concrete information. It wasn't until Jan. 5 that I actually got any kind of shipping information on a third call. Finally recieved that part on Jan. 7. The run around was exhausting and I feel unnecessary. Bottom line, I most likely will not order online again if this is how it's done. That being said, the catalytic converter itself was fine!

2002 VW Jetta 2.0L
My son had a bad cat converter back in July 2017. So, I purchased one from a online parts store for $189. This included the pipes. Then first of November the CEL came on. He got the code read it was a PO420 bad catalytic converter. He had it checked at two other repair shop they said the same thing. My son came across cat converter on AAP website and purchased at the store. Yesterday, I took it to a local muffler shop to get the existing cat cut off and this new one welded on for $54 dollars. I drove it back home the CEL was out and the car drove fine. I hope that this one well last a lot longer then the last one. If not, he is glad that it comes with a warranty. So far, it's doing what it suppose to be doing.
