My headlights were dingy and yellow so I replaced them with bright white ones. They still looked terrible. I bought these to replace the stock wiring and the headlights look like new. Super simple to install if you have any basic wiring skills. Does the job.

2 pack both worked wonderful!!! On my 81 F-150 the red wire on the new socket went with the green harness wire, not the red harness wire. Make sure you pay attention the colors will not match up.

Used this to replace a socket someone had broken on my Mitsubishi Lancer. First one lasted 2 months, so I replaced it again with the 2nd from the pack. 1 month later I'm replacing it again. Just a note: The Low-Temp 85811 design has changed and now the same contacts as the High-Temp. After visiting several local stores I was lucky enough to fine one with the older spring design. So far so good.

We purchased this socket for it's "high temp" rating. It melted in less than 2 months of use. At least the OE plug lasted 2 years.
