EZ online ordering / durable parts
This part (headlight socket) is available with different wiring configurations (number of wire leads). It is impossible to know in advance which one the car needs without uninstalling / disassembling the headlight, which is not a straightforward job on the car I needed it for (2009 Pontiac G6). I hope the replacement socket outlasts the factory original because it is a royal pain to get access to. Order online, you can get a discount and you can be sure its ready when you go to pick it up.

Fits Kia Sorento
Headlight Socket worked as advertised for the Kia Sorento. Of course, the original wires were way too short to connect this one directly, so I had to wicker it a bit through one headlight to the other to get a wire I could actually work with. I understand why manufacturers want to save costs on wire over millions of cars, but they could have spared an inch or two on the wires. My hunch is that this tight set of wires is one of the reasons the original socket shorted out.

Not worth it...
I purchased two of these about 2-3 years ago. This week my dash indicator said I had a lamp out. Turned out to be a short in the plastic housing. Just to be safe I replaced both sockets with an OEM certified type. They cost about twice as much as the advanced Auto ones.
If you need a fast repair, go for it. If not, I would wait and look a little deeper.

Works like it should
This connector works just fine. My only issues were it was hard to plug in to my bulb and both wires are black so you have to pay close attention when connecting to your positive and ground.
