They say that knowledge is power. And as the talented, and lucky, winners of the Show What You Know Contest (SWYK) recently found out, it's also the key to winning a trip to Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, Texas. The SWYK contestants all submitted videos and/or photos of their vehicle modification, restoration, or repair to be considered for the grand prize.
The winners, and their guests, were treated to a day at Gas Monkey Garage, home of the Discovery show, Fast N' Loud. Richard Rawlings was there to personally give everyone a tour of his garage and warehouse space; which is filled with project cars and a large variety of classic cars, bikes, and vans, as well as some newer performance cars.
Richard also invited our guests to stop by his vast merchandise store (compete with a few cars on display and a live video feed into the shop where filming takes place). These lucky winners were given store credit so that they could pick out some keepsakes to be signed by Richard and the Monkeys.
Richard wasn't about to let the winners leave Gas Monkey Garage without getting their hands dirty. They all promptly rolled up their sleeves to help in an Advance Auto Parts “How-To" series of videos starring Richard and a few of the Monkeys.
