I replaced my entire exhaust 2.5 years ago. Other than really expensive parts and a custom shop job, this was the only Y-Pipe I could find for my car (2001 grand prix). Looks like the salt from the roads has gotten to it as there is now a leak in one of the crush bends. Cost me $130 at the time, but it only lasted 2.5 years. I was hoping to get double that. I may try a repair or else buy a new Y-Pipe but this time I will spray it with an engine paint so it can only rust from the inside and not the outside. Overall it was about $4.30/month I paid for this - It doesn't sound too bad, but none the less the bend should hold up for a little longer.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
