Walker Exhaust Y Pipe

A warning to all. To give you a rundown I was in the Automotive field for over 20 years and service manager for 7. I worked for a Kia dealer since 1997. I have purchased this exhaust once before about five years ago. I had an issue with the exhaust hanger hitting the crossmember of the truck. Luckily back then I had the equipment where I was able to heat the pipe up and bend it enough to get the hanger off of the frame. Unfortunately I had to purchase the same Y pipe again. I ran into two issues. One I had an exhaust leak on the flange on top where it bolts up to the catalytic converter. I loosen the nuts and tried to readjust it with same problem. Advance Auto was great and I returned it and got another one unfortunately with the same problem. I ended up double gasketing it to make exhaust leak go away. An even bigger problem just like the first exhaust I purchased the exhaust hanger hits the crossmember again. The worst part is now that I am out of the business . With what it's going to cost me now to bring it to a dealer I should have just bought a factory one and would have had no issues

I was very happy to buy this after the OEM, had a leak. The installation was easy and the car was running nice an smooth you couldn't tell the SUV was even on. Order product 7/31/13 as of 7/19/15 It has a leak just like the OEM did. My Kia Sorrento 2005 only has 69300 miles I barely drive it because of the cost of gas. The OEM lasted untill 2013. This piece of junk only lasted 2 years. Of course it only came with a 1 year warranty. My Suggesting do your research before purchasing this product.

We installed the Y on the ground with the vehicle just on ramps. The flange alignment to the manifolds was off a little. One can compensate with the flex weave easily enough but when on the ground it made it tougher to handle. Have a 1 to 1 and a 1/2 inch diameter pry bar ready to flex the flange in place.

It is a great replacement for a awesome price,
