Too stiff! Can't even use.

I ordered 2 sets for a total of 6, for a project I was doing. I installed a '00 4.3 out of a GMC Jimmy into a '89 S10 Blazer. When it came time to install the exhaust, I found these springs were so tall that I couldn't even get the nut started on the stud .... and forget about compressing them - the wire size is quite a bit thicker than stock, & therefore MUCH stiffer. Useless to me. I'll be returning them. Maybe a new stud kit comes with longer studs? Not sure ... and I don't have the time to find out.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
