This was purchased for use in a 1993 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, with the six cylinder Vortec engine (W). I had been hearing my old muffler getting louder and louder as the rust slowly expanded it's grasp. Knowing it would not pass our state inspection, I knew it was time to take action. With the assistance of a local welding shop, I was in the position to complete this undertaking for less than one hundred dollars. The blazer is back to it's stock sound and I surely cannot complain about the price.

not a perfect match
not a match for my 1998 bravado as advertised. no flange attached as my original. did not want to spend any more time looking for a flange and clamp so I bought the more expensive muffler with the flange.

It was described as an exact fit but it waasnt going to work. the outlet diameter was incorrect. had to pay another 30 for the next level muffler which was an exact fitment. it all fairness it was a little bigger and heavier so it should be quieter

As good as any muffler I've seen. I think the major difference is the warranty some muffles come with. Why pay for a warrant?
