This item worked as it should. Just remove the old muffler and make sure not to cut the exhaust pipe short. Then clean up the pipes by grinding off any old weld spots, rust or material that might cause a leak. Loosen the tail pipe brackets so that you have enough room to install the muffler. Make sure that you slide the muffler onto the exhaust pipe up to the flange, if you are going weld it make sure you either sanded or have ground off all rust and grease. I just used exhaust sealer inside or inbetween the two pipes. Install tail pipes the same way, tighten hangers and start up vehicle and check for leaks. Finish
