Walker Sound Solution Exhaust Muffler

Cheap and did its job on a 91 cavalier with 280, 000 on her now it sounds like new only had to buy the tip cause replacement mufflers don't come with it unless I wanted to cut the old one off which would make no sense

On a Saturday afternoon with the other parts stores closed I bought this muffler online for an in store pick up based on the phrase ''exact fit''. There was no photo, so I put my trust in them and their claim of exact fit. When I got home and pulled it from the box to install it I then find out it's just a universal muffler that happens to fit. There is no tail pipe turn down like on the factory mufflers this is replacing. I will have to saw off the 8 inch turn down and install it on this new muffler. Without it, your exhaust exit will blow directly on the back of the bumper. For this misunderstanding, I give it one star. The outlet necks down inside the muffler to what looks like about an inch and a quarter (1 1/4''). I'm debating on installing it because of this, but I also understand that engineers designed it for decibel cancellation so it should work ok. The one this is replacing does not have this restriction and was quiet up until it broke open from rust. I didn't check any of the 'Pros' or 'Cons' because there were no choices that fit what I explained here other than good for a daily driver under 'Best Uses'. If you buy this muffler, don't forget to buy the tail pipe turn down.
