Better than expected
I was worried about fitment as the body is only 17 inches and the OEM is 20 inches. I was pleased to see the inlet and outlet pipe was extra long, so I was able to get a good fit without additional parts. This fit my 1998 Isuzu Trooper 4 door LWB with no problem.

Low quality
This muffler has a short lifespan. Mine lasted only 4 years as a every day driver so it did not rust out from moisture due to sitting around. Any muffler should last at least as long as the tailpipe especially due to the fact the replacement pipes are near half the thickness they use to be. Advance does not like to stock the warrantied one for a few dollars more.

Not nearly as quiet as the original equipment muffler. On a 4 cylinder it produces a distinct low tone that can especially be heard when accelerating and gearing down. I was expecting this muffler to be very quiet and this is the reason I only gave it 4 stars, instead of 5.

Good budget tight replacement, had one of the same installed 2 1/2-3 years ago and it had rusted out and fell apart that fast, this time I gave it along with the new tailpipe several coats of $3 a can hi-temp bbq grill paint which will at least double its lifespan, all is good.
