Not OEM size.
Oh, so NOW I know why some parts aren't posted as "direct fit". It means expect some surprises. Muffler is quiet but is roughly 25% smaller in width and two inches in length. This difference requires an extra conversion pipe to compensate for shortness and custom bending of metal, hanging strap for snug fit. Wish I knew going in. Unexpected, extra work. Advance Auto does not sell the appropriate strap for this muffler. Specs state this muffler is correct for my vehicle, so I hope its smaller size doesn't impose undesirable backpressure. Would recommend to a friend, but with these caveats.

After it was installed, I found that both ends of the body of muffler leaked where the metal was crimped together. Due to the amount of work it would take to remove it, I puttied around the crimps to seal the leak and left it on the car.

Good quiet Muffler.. But, will not fit original perfectly... Shorter by 2" and had to buy a coupler. It is also a smaller width but did the job... It's a old van so who cares... A newer car, I would have taken it back....
