Walker Quiet-Flow SS Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler Assembly 2.25" Inlet (ID) 2.5" Outlet (OD)

I just want to clarify for buyers here: The Quietflow- SS is not actually stainless steel. It is a made of aluminized steel. Maybe Advance Auto thought SS stood for stainless-steel but I'm guessing it does not in this case.

Thought I was getting a good deal, not so much. The tail pipe assembly was bent all wrong. I was at a friends garage with all the fixings, lift,torches,tools etc. I figured I put it on the lift, cut off the origional parts, assemble the two pieces and I'd be on my way. I even called the local Advanced store to double check I was ordering all the right parts and anything else I would need. Installed the pipe and muffler in seconds....now comes the tail pipe. It was bent incorrectlyand would not fit period, so while it's hanging, we heated it and bent it along with the hangers that were also in the wrong positions. Hours later it was clear that the only way to jury rig this thing remove my spear tire hanging beneth the truck bed. So the take home story is, NEVER buy after market parts because they don't fit. If I hadn't already cut off the old muffler, and wasn't 60 miles from my home, I was so angry I might have returned it to the Seabrook,NH store through their front window.Because after all, I called a so called 'expert' and was told these were the right parts. So all you Toyota Tacoma dbl cab owners.....this part will not fit!!!!
