poor assembly of product

This is my third muffler, replacingvabout every three year due to rusting out. However this last muffler did not fit well. Appears the welding jig was off when the inlet pipe was attached. Muffler is up against the floorboard and thumps floor. No way to adjust. Going to call Advance Monday and see if I can swap this muffler for another one. Expect a fight. I only use these as Toyota insists on selling a one piece cat, muffler and tailpipe for $1200.

Product was not properly aligned in jig to make accurate bends to the muffler pipe and the support brackets. Caused the muffler to contact the body of the vehicle, without correcting these deficiencies.

[@] wanted $1800 to replace the muffler on my RAV4. They wouldn't separate it from the resonator directly in front of it, so the part alone cost $1200. I bought this muffler and handed it to a local shop who put it on for $40. Took 20 minutes.
