I was even able to use the factory heat sheild and installed with stainless steel hose clamps because factory ones were missing or soon to be missing. Bought this part because I thought the front pipe were ajoined with studs but found to be fastend with bolts. I could have reused my stock y pipe but after seeing this one I installed it because my perception that this pipe had a better design and looked like it would have better exhaust flow. The factory pipe looked like they hammered 2-1 1/4 pipes and jammed them into one 2" pipe after you remove the heat sheild.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
