Average repair part
The flex section in this connector commonly fails and leaks on Foci with high Midwest mileage. If you are replacing the Focus' exhaust, you may as well plan on replacing this as well. Make sure to have new gaskets for either end. This part is made well enough for my repair standards on my commuter car. The Advanced page photo shows one end having included studs. These were not included on my connector. Connector is made of aluminized steel and formed with crush bends. Keep in mind that the OEM Focus exhaust is made of stainless steel, so this will not have the same expected service life. IF this car was not my commuter car I would opt for a stainless mandrel bent connector instead.
As with any exhaust replacement part, it is easier to remove the stickers and adhesive after you test fit but before you final install the part.
PS. I am willing to bet that the 4 connector flange bolts will require cutting out and replacement. The rear mounting brackets that bolt to the engine block will probably be rusted away and needing replacement (Ford dealer $$$) as well.

Pipe fit like the original, was easy to removed the rusted fasteners - they should remind you what fasteners are required - as well as the gaskets.
