Custom fit, worked well
This strap fit well and was able to be used on an existing muffler that was still in working order. NOTE: make sure you choose the right engine size when ordering because I got the wrong one the first time for a 98 cavalier.

Average Product - Rusts Out in 1.5 Years
Parts fitment is ok, but quality of metal is poor. You'll have to massage it a little to get it to fit the exact contour of your muffler. On my 3rd one in 3.5 years. If I would have known of poor quality, I would have gotten a factory replacement as OEM lasted nearly 9 years. Never would have bought 3rd one (never would have bought 2nd one either but it broke on a road trip to Chicago and didn't have much of a choice) but don't plan on keeping car longer than 2 more years. It appears the material of the metal strap may have changed since the last one as it appears to be galvanized metal now - maybe it will resist rust better. Still not taking the chance and gave it three coats of hi-temp ceramic laced paint. Supplied bolt is an inch longer than it needs to be. If you plan on having your car more than a 1.5 years, do yourself a favor and paint it with hi-temp paint before installing it or get an OEM replacment from GM if available.
Almost forgot, it rusts so bad it damages (rusts) your muffler where the strap touches it.

Apply common sense
If you are buying a Walker strap did it ever occur to you it is for a walker muffler and wont fit the fat OE muffler without modifications?.

Didn't fit with the bolt given. I had to get a longer bolt which made the muffler sit at a bit of an angle. Bracket does not fit rubber properly. cheaply made

"Exact fit" - No it is not.
I ordered this hanger from the website as it was listed as an exact fit for my 04 Chevy Cavalier 4 cylinder. When it arrived, I had no reason to doubt that. But when I removed the OEM (damaged) hanger I noticed that the connector type was completely different - the car takes the spade type (Walker 36153). Now, the spade type is listed as an exact fit as well! But if you search "muffler strap" for the 04 Cav 4 cylinder, it does not come up as a result! I will be returning this one (which I had already unbagged by then) and purchasing the correct one, which is cheaper anyway.
It does fit the muffler itself perfectly though, so there's something to be said for that.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
