The red paint doesn't match the cap color. It isn't very close it. It is a great orange, if that is what you are after. It crawled over the previous red high temp paint, which had been wet sanded and cleaned. I sprayed the clear over and it came out white. Coverage was not spectacular it didn't cover the bare metal well. I would trust any VHT high temp paint! Advance Auto was nice and eventually refunded me for the paint.

Holding up well
I used the silver on my exhaust manifold, and still looks good after a couple of weeks. I primed with Ospho rust converter, then just painted over with the VHT.

after degreasing engine some pait peeled on my 1989 evo engine. used to touch up paint while on bike and it came out great. engine gets quite hot so this should withstand the heat. blended in very well and looks great. easy to order and online coupons make it very affordable. I was able to order online at a discount and the product was waiting for me when I drove to the store. advanced auto is my go to store for all my automotive and motorcycle needs. have a merry xmas and a happy new year. steve
