I have a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. You can insert the key in the ignition but the key will not twist or turn to start the vehicle. You can move steering wheel to left and the right and still the key will not turn over to start the vehicle where should I start.

Hi Chase, I can understand your concern! If the key still not turn there may be excessive wear inside the ignition that is preventing the key from properly aligning with the keyhole. If the key cannot be turned your car will not start. However, without the presence of your vehicle, we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic.
