Great replacement. TPMS system up and running correctly.
Sensor programs identically to OEM sensor. Replaced two of the four on my wife's Saab 9-7x and restored the TPMS to proper operation. Both the amber warning light and the "Service Tire Pressure Monitoring System" message in the vehicle's message center. Seals properly and is slightly smaller then the OEM sensor so it cleared the tire upon replacing and reinflating tires. Sensdor kit includes sensor, schader valve, sealing washer, external screw/ valve stem and new cap. I did not have to reuse any parts from the old sensors.

I wouldnt buy this product
I bought 4 of these tpms sensors and put them on my 2014 chevy Silverado 1500 4×4 crew cab short bed and was told they would work fine. They may work for my truck but out of the 4 I bought 2 were to low (batterys depleted I believe) and 1 was having trouble connecting due to low battey and 1 was fine. I asked about replacement under warranty and was told if I take them out and bring them back they will warranty them however In order to do that I have to get the sensors off the wheels and the 3 tire shops I went to want about $30-$60 a piece to do this. I was told by the manager at my local advance store that they will not cover labor under the warranty of the part. I WOULD NOT BUY THESE EVER AGAIN MAY NOT EVEN SHOP AT ADVANCE AGAIN.
Yes Jayden, this VDO REDI-Sensor VDO Metal Clamp-in Stem REDI-Sensor (Part # SE10001HP) will fit your 2008 Dodge Caliber.
Is this a universal sensor or it made specifically for a 2012 Hyundai Sonata hybrid? I was told not to use a universal sensor because they may not work on non American cars. Is this true? The Hyundai dealership wants $172. This seem to inexpensive???

I just had Sensor replaced and have drive a mile or two. The tire pressure still reads "O" and my light is still flashing. Any how long it should take for my vehicle to recognize the newly installed sensor?

Hi Debra, I'm glad to assist you! If you’ve had the misfortune of getting a flat tire and have had to install the spare tire, you’ve seen the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light come on in the dash. Once you have the normal wheel and a new tire back on the car, you should only need to drive for a few miles for it to turn off. If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the recommended diagnostic to resolve this is a warning light diagnostic - TPMS. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.
Has anyone relearned the VDO redi sensors with a magnet on a Ford Escape 2008?

Will these be able to use on aluminum rims
Product Owner - richardson114
yes sir these will work on aluminum wheels.
Product Owner - larodriguez94
You should be able to. I installed them on 22 inch aftermarket wheels with low pro tires. No problem. The sensors are thin enough to sit inside the rim safely.
