Update from 2 years ago when I posted., Well I'm still using and buying this Crimson Grease. Used it for many other things besides my 4 vehicles ball joints. Even as lube to put new tires on my lawn mower rims. Was really struggling with tire irons, put this grease on the bead, and wala, slipped right on. I even coat things with this grease to protect from moisture/rust.

My grease gun has had the Red Crimson Valvoline grease using it of and on. This last.time I picked up my grease gun, red oil started dripping out of the base rod hole. I just used a rag to keep it from dripping. Used the rest of that tube, pulled the rod to add another tube and about 4 table spoons of more red oil pored out. Looks like the grease was separating. Had to clean out the rod side if the gun. Now mind you, my grease gun has been stored in a hot building for about a year with that red crimson Valvoline grease in it. But I have another tube of a different type of Valvoline grease that was stored by itself in the same building with no issues. I will not use the red crimson anymore due to the oil separating from the grease and making a mess.
