2009 Pontiac G8 GT
Wasn't been able to find this wiper in local stores (I live in a small town), but using the online catalog at AAP I was able to find this wiper. It's extremenly quiet - even when the windshield is dry! Does an excellent job of clearing the rain without streaking or chattering. Removed the pre-installed adaptor, and replaced with the alternate adaptor, removed part of that adaptor (all per instructions), and snapped it on. Removing the pre-installed adaptor was easier using a small screwdriver rather than fingers as the instructions recommend. Very pleased with the product and prompt shipping.

Well ... not so impressed
These replaced Bosch ICON blades which had been my favorite until the plastic mounting broke during a light summer rain! Problem I've noted with these has to do with the highly touted aerodynamic wing - driver side causes water to pool and follow blade on return from verticle position at speeds over 35mph - NOT conducive to safe driver vision! They sweep smoothly without jumping & sputtering; compatible with Rain-X type products, last longer than the cheaper blades.

Awesome wipers ; quiet ,wipe clean , no streaks , hold up to cold and snow load . My first set lasted 3 years and only reason for replacing is age and starting a little streaking on one wiper . Repeat buying of same wipers and expecting the same quality . These are the best in my honest opinion !

Should the wiper blades have been wiped with rubbing alcohol before installation? There seems to be a film on the windshield after being installed.

Hi Terri, I'm glad to help you! Applying rubbing alcohol to the blade of each wiper will do two things: one, it will clean any and all debris from the wiper blade itself, helping to maintain an abrasive-free clean when you use your wipers, and two: excess grime on the blades will cause streaking and annoying squeaking noises.

confirming flat plastic piece on the blade is to be facing up/above the arm towards roof to push water, rather than down under the arm towards engine meaning it would pull water up when wipers engaged?
