this was a fail

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
No
Bought this to remove 2 broken off starter bolts. Removed the first one, worked great. When I tried to remove the second bolt I found that one of the jaws had broken during the first use, so it wouldn't grab onto the second one tightly enough. Says "Lifetime guarantee" on the package, we'll see how that works out...........1998 F-150 4.6
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Oh yeah!
Had the head of a super rusty 12 MM bolt from the exhaust manifold to the CAT of a Honda Element snap off on me. I tried torching, penetrating oil, vice grips and nothing worked. As a last resort tried this using an impact wrench, and lo and behold, the stud came off like butter. Highly recommended.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Make your life easier
I was having issues removing studs out of an older 98 f150 4.6 head and this is perfect for removing stuck or broken bolts. Don't fumble around with channel locks just grab this and your ratchet and your golden, a lot can be said for having the right tool for a job.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
