• Pull desired amount of cable from the spool by disengaging the spool lock using the lock spring then pulling on the cable hook
• Note: Never attempt to release the spool when the tool is under a load; serious injury may result
• To release the load, move the spool lock spring to the release position and ratchet the handle fully forward and backward. This will safely release the load one notch at a time.
