DRL LED replacement bulbs for 2003 Tahoe
I was looking for a LED replacement for the DRLs, ideally a product that uses less power, dissipates less heat, and less likely to burn out due to off-road use.
Other reviewers mentioned the need to plug in the bulbs per the correct polarity. In the case of the Tahoe, one wire was blue, the other black (i.e. ground)....just make sure the "+" side of the bulb is aligned with the blue wire, and you're good to go.

Dim and disappointing, but hey, they're LED so at least they run cool so I won't have to change them again for 15 years.

Replacement for standard DLR lights in my 2000 GMC 4x4
Replace standard bulbs with these LED bulbs. The heat from the old standard bulbs burned the lens covers and damaged the bulb sock which had to be replaced. After replacing the socks and lens cover I tired many different LED. They all failed within 2 two weeks of installation and some were not very bright. The VEVO LED have been in for 2 months with no problems and the lens cover does not get hot any more. the LED is bright without projecting the light out wards just like a DLR sure work, the LED is more noticeable than the original and runs cooler . No resistor was need for my truck.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Not at all what I expected,no light projected forward. Not even close as bright as standard bulb.
