Sylvania 6418 SYL, LED car light
Sylvania brand lights are top of the line brand. I've used Sylvania brand all my life, as I was introduced to the brand by my late grandmother. This light is for my BMW. It's strong and lasts a long time. You can't put just any brand products on a name like BMW. I always use top of the line products. The light is bright and gives great viewing in the night. Definitely would recommend this to anyone whose looking for a strong brand.

Did not work with BMW
Did not work with my 2010 BMW 528i xDrive. Even though I watched the (very friendly) sales person pull up the list of bulbs compatible with the license plate lamp housing for this vehicle, and this part number came up, it didn't work. I tried rotating it, flipping it around end to end, unplugging and replugging the housing, everything. Will return and try to find something else.

Ok, here is the deal. There is NOTHING wrong with this product, only user error which the Sylyania company does not address on the package. This product IS polarity sensitive. If you put it in one direction, it will not work nor will it be damaged. Take the bulb out turn it 180 degrees and BINGO it works. Your welcome for fixing the situation. Cant imagine how many have been replaced do to this simple issue.

Advanced Auto site claims this is an exact match for my wife's vehicle but it's clearly too short. Hoping it won't be an issue with returning but if you're buying this as a trunk light for an XC90, don't, it won't fit

Clean Packaged LED. (Only 30% brighter than standard bulb)
I purchased this bulb to replace the stock overhead light. It's only near stock brightness. The LEDs are not diffused enough, making the light go straight to your eyes. I will return this bulb.
