These bulbs work fine as replacements for standard bulbs. Hopefully they outlast the truck and I don't need to replace them again. I installed these in my 2006 Ford Expedition. The replacement was very easy. Check the bulb before putting everything back together, if it isn't working take the bulb out and put it back in the other direction. I experienced rapid flashing when this bulb was installed since the LED pulls a lower amperage. To make the bulbs flash properly I purchased an EP27 electronic (not mechanical) flasher relay from Advance Auto as well for about 10 bucks. This fixed the issue perfectly and now everything works great. It was also cheaper and easier than installing an LED load equalizer (resistor) at each bulb. If you do this however, you lose the quick flash related to a burned out bulb. Overall I'm happy with how everything turned out, but it turned into more than a quick bulb change.
