Does touching the bulbs without gloves damage the bulb itself? I'm still having trouble getting the third brake light to function. I'm trying to avoid a traffic violation ticket.

Without gloves, the oil on your fingers might damage the bulb. If the third brake light does not work, check the brake light fuse which is usually located under the hood. If its blown replace it with a new one. If the new fuse doesn't work while you have a foot on the pedal, the circuit itself is shorted out. That's a more complicated and expensive fix, which will need to be handled by a professional mechanic.

No, this part does not fit your 1996 Chevrolet Blazer.
I just wanted to know where these bulbs could be used. Has nothing to give an idea what it is used in or what product, etc.

These can honestly be used in a wide variety of vehicles from every manufacturer. Is there a specific vehicle(s) that you are inquiring about?
