Supercool Evaporator Cleaner / Deodorizer

Do not use this product! we bought a pretty clean 2012 used car from a friend. It did not smell at all. The previous owner had no issues with the system at all. My wife and I, however have allergies and both noticed the car giving us headaches. I changed the cabin air filter, the old one did had not been changed in four years and was dirty. It was still giving us headaches but there was zero bad smell. I applied the Supercool Evaporator Odor Eliminator 17 oz. As instructed. I injected it in through the AC drain below the car. The car immediately developed the worst vomit smell you could imagine. I used three cans as one company comment or instruction said the smell might get worse before it gets better. It only got worse! Unbearable! It's hard to express how bad it was without experiencing. I ran the car for hours with heat and AC, fresh and recirculation trying to dry it out of there. Do not use!!! You may regret it extremely! Subsequently I ordered four cans of a no rinse HVAC coil cleaner not intended for cars, nu calgon or something similar named. I used it the same way and it made a huge difference in reducing the smell, but a month later it's still there to a much much less degree. It's bearable, but we are contemplating removing all the ductwork for individual cleaning. What a nightmare!!!!
