Questionable Manufacturing

Puurchased a set, left and right. Opened box to install the left strut and noticed that one of the studs wasn't pressed in. Returned to the store and exchanged for one that was OK and installed. Installed the right strut, and after installation there was a squeak in the right mount upon turning the wheel. Returned the rt strut and exchanged it, mounted the replacement and it also had a squeak in the mount when turning the steering wheel. Returned the replacment for exchange and upon mounting this replacement all was well. Bottom line, went through 5 struts to find 2 that were not defective. Bottom line, there seems to be an issue with quality control in manufacturing of these items. Ride is OK, will have to wait and see about the durability.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
