These were easy to install on my 01 Grand Prix trunk and work perfectly.

Not as expected
Two of the were purchased to replace the struts on my '00 Impala. When my trunk is released, it barely pops open. It is hard to lift up because of resistance in the struts, and is hard to close. I would not recommend this brand.
On a plus side, they were extremely easy to install. I used a screwdriver to pop loose the old ones and a slight twisting motion. These snapped right into place.
