The Lift Supports I ordered online, turned out to be not identical parts when I went to the store to pick them up: although they had the same part number. The physical differences were considerable. The mfg vendor had apparently made a change; and the store only had these two items in stock. So I returned them as unacceptable. I wanted a matched pair.

Purchased as replacements for Lexus RX300 tailgate lifters. Exact replacement for OEM part, easily installed in 10 minutes. The original had plastic (soft washers under the attactment bolts, no washers supplied, this did not affect the fit or function

Purchased product to replace original equipment in 2002 Lexus RX300. Lifters dramatically improved raising the hatchback. Dealer price on pair of lift supports was $125. While not identical to the original lift supports, the cost savings more than justified the purchase. Read the installation directions carefully as they include several similar, but not identical lift supports.
