The Support lifts for my 2000 Mercury Cougar were easy to order on line, I picked them up at the store, no waiting in line or having the clerk look the item up. I handed the clerk my online receipt, she got the support lifts, and I was in and out of the store in 3 minutes. Installation was super easy, it literally took only 5 minutes to take the old support lifts off and install the new ones. These are an "exact match" item, excellent item at an excellent price and I love the on line ordering with in store pick up.

Installed on a 99 mercury cougar. Directions seem to be for all types of supports, but these only need a thin flat bladed screwdriver to pry out the metal ring and maybe a needlenose plier to help pull it out. Seems very similar to the OEM.
