If you are planning to buy this lifter for your 2002 Volvo S60. This part will not fit for this car. It only open half way of your trunk. I have to return this.

There is a reason they call them Strong Arm. My Volvo has one on each side of the hood. After I replaced the first one the hood would stay up so I could replace the second one. 2 minutes to replace them both.
