Spectre's universal throttle cable bracket, 24283 is recommended for optimum fit.

I mounted it with the end that has bolts at the carb and the plastic peice on the cut end clipped perfectly in the firewall , ended up with great fit even though it was backward to what directions said.

the description says it's 3 feet, but only the cable itself is 3 feet.
the housing is only 24 inches.
the braided housing is woven loosely and will snag easily.

piece of junk
Will not work on a 2000 s-10 4.3 vortex! Universal my foot and couldn't take it back after opening it up. Will not touch another universal part and probably done with Advance Auto unless I'm desperate.

I have no idea why this product says exact fit for my truck. 1990 ford f150 L6 300. In no way, shape, or form was this easy to install. It will work if you change enough things, but DO NOT think this kit will be a 10 min fix. DO NOT throw away your old cable housing you will need it.
