Currently using the following Purolator PureOne filters:
-PL15436 - 2006 Saturn ION 2.4l
-PL15436 - 2004 Saturn Vue 2.2l
-PL25288 - 2005 Chevy Trailblazer 4.2l
-PL14612 - 2000 Nissan Sentra
Both Saturns use a no-canister type filter (which is just the filter element with no outside can). I have used cheaper made filters and noticed the filter element crushed as if the oil pressure made it collapse on itself. I find that the PureOne filters are better and they do not collapse as the other filters do... at least on the Saturn filters.
I also like the canister filters because they have a textured finish that makes them easy to grip under the car. The texture does not flake off like in the painted texture filters.

Junk...please read
Took this Purolator PL25608 filter out of my 2008 Lexus RX350 at the 3000 mile oil change. Piece of junk. Cracked, crushed and the ends fell off. I will never buy another Purolator filter.
