This works good, take time to practice, only use the guide as a rough reference to color - actually sit in car to color match, main thing make sure end of heating iron is screwed on good. It says to tape it in place - but tape won't stick to it (I tried Duct tape)- it does cool fast so you won't have to hold it long. Best part if it doesn't look right you can redo it.

I bought this to fix a quarter inch or so tear in my driver side leather seat. The reviews were very mixed, so my expectations were not very high! Well much to my surprise the results were fantastic! I think, first of all you need realistic expectations! If your interior is trashed, this product isn't going to fix it! Go get it professionally ✅ done. My seats were black so I didn't have to color match. While they do provide a color chart, good luck getting an exact match. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I believe it will be a trial and error procedure. If your tear is more than perhaps an inch or so this product is again not the answer...have it done professionally. Lastly follow directions to the letter, watch some YouTube videos that are available and read and reread the instructions.

I used this product to patch some small (~3/16") holes in the door panels of a 1992 Mercedes 300D. Mixing the color to match worked out well. The repaired area doesn't quite look new, but looks dramatically better than before. I'm usually skeptical of products like this, but took a chance on this one and am glad that I did.

I put on the filler and it bubbled up and I cut it off and re applied it did it again.After many lite aplications I used the color compound after 3 tries with the heat iron and giving it different time up to 3 min the last time I was able to wipe it all off with a dry rag after it cooled.Don't waste your time.
