I always use this gasket sealer on cork gaskets. It helps to hold the gasket in place and prevents oil soaking thru the cork gasket

Used to put gasket on new water pump for 2002 Saturn SL1. This item was recommended to me by a auto buff so I figured I'd try it. This is the BEST product out there! Makes putting on the gasket and holding it in exactly the right spot easy as pie! I highly recommend this and will use the rest of the can on any other projects like this that I have!

I used this over a year ago on my 07 honda odyssey 3.5 exl head gaskets. Never had a issue an removed head an reinstalled with same copper gasket sealer . Still over a year latter zero issues an reused head bolts. Has thousands of miles since done. Was done after garage replaced timing belt which broke.

Works great for sticking gaskets to parts

I used this based on another recommendation, for a water pump. Big mistake. There is no director tube or spray pattern. You get a circular thin even coat all over the area you are targeting, and then some because of the overspray. On a water pump housing it went on the mating surface where I wanted it, but I cleaned the product out of the water passage and off the blades of the water pump. You don't want small pieces of gasket material plugging up the vanes in your radiator. More overspray was on the engine block itself. Which was ignored since I don't have a show engine. I'll go back to applying the tube version which has no time consuming post application and pre-assembly cleaning or part masking requirements.
