Can this product be used to replace a gasket on a freezer door?

Hi John, I'm glad to help you! This Permatex Form-A-Gasket� No. 2 Sealant (Part # 80015) is recommended to use on aviation as well as automotive applications for the valve cover gaskets and oil pan gaskets.
Can I use this on the oil drain plug threads to make sure there is no leaks?

No, Clint. This Permatex Form-A-Gasket® No. 2 Sealant - Part # 80015 is only recommended for valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gaskets. Permatex have an oil plug thread sealant - part # 09143, but we do not offer them online. I'd recommend that you visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store to check the availability of the product.
Does the Permatex #2 non hardening sealant resist brake fluid?
