Permatex's Medium-Strength Threadlocker Blue is ideal for all nut and bolt applications 1/4" to 3/4" (6mm to 20mm). Threadlocker Blue eliminates need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers and locks and seals while preventing parts loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Threadlocker BLUE is easily removable with hand tools for easy disassembly. The Gel formula provides "liquid-reliability" without drips, globs, mess or waste and is available in convenient dispensing systems: choose GEL TWIST pin-point applicator or the GEL SQUEEZE applicator. easy to use
This is a great product compared to the liquid blue thread locker. It does not run and drip off the threads. It is much easier to use. I would recommend this to anyone who does a lot of mechanical work. Thread lock is used to secure threaded fasteners like nuts and bolts that you don't want to come loose. I always use it when I am doing a brake job. The brake caliper bracket to steering knuckle bolts are torqued to spec but an application of this product is an extra safety measure to insure that they don't come loose.

the product is harder to apply than the real liquid product. The amount you can get out of it is less than the liquid product.
