Permatex Professional Rearview Mirror Repair Kit: Everything You Need for Perfect Repairs

I followed the instructions exactly. Bought a new mirror, it went up without a hitch and came down exactly 1 week later almost to the minute.

I have tryed to use this product four times now and it seems to never work the mirror always just falls right off 1 day after I put it on I read the instructions ever time and I got a new mirror and it doesnt work buy different brand that will actually work on a car

I followed the instructions word for word. Completed the steps as instructions stated, and after 30 minutes the bracket fell off the windshield. This product is a wast of money.

I was skeptical about this item, i decided to give it a go as it was the complete kit for mounting the rearview mirror. boy am i sorry i ever got it. followed the directions precisely as written, it said to let set for 30 mins, i gave it an hour, it said put one drop of glue on the button, i followed that. within the hour of going back to the car to mount the mirror on the button, the button popped right off the windsheild like it was never glued on. now this item comes with very little glue in a large tube to begin with, even if you wanted to reapply glue to the button, you would have already used up the cleansing towel that has some special activator that reacts to the glue to keep it on the glass. bottom line STAY AWAY! get the 3M glue or something.

Followed the directions. Scraped clean window and bracket holder with razer, prepped with bonding agent, set mounting piece to window, two days later, long after the tome to allow to cure, i re-attached the mirror. t held fine. I tightened the screw and went to adjust the mirror and it came off in my hand. not helpful. Not a store, but a product issue.
