Great Product
Came across this product in the store one day after being quoted $600.00 to replace a catalytic converter which had a leak in it. Jacked up car and used both packs and instantly bonded and stopped the leak.

Short term fix & not permanent soluation
I purchased this to seal a small hole on the muffler. It was easy to install if you follow the directions and wear gloves. I also let it dry longer than what the specs. stated just to make sure its solid. The problem was solved for short term, after about a week the putty started to crumble up and fall apart and muffler noise came back.

Muffler putty

Used to mend an ATV muffler. Filled the hole in with this, let it cure/dry, then put the metal exhaust wrap around it and secured it with large stainless steel hose clamps. I did give it 4 stars, because it did crack slightly, but should be ok with the wrap around it.
This product works, first time and it lasts.

It did the job.

I followed the instructions and applied it cold. When I started the motor to idle and help drying, the putty blew out. I applied it and let it stand overnight and it worked. If the hole is the size of a peanut, use some mesh so it wont blow out.
I will continue using and recommending this product

Yes, Chuck! The recommended storage temperature is no lower than 40F for sustained periods of time.
Would this product work well for a hole in the flex pipe?
Product Owner - 4qtvic53
Based on my actual attempts on my flex pipe section, this putty dries hard and becomes inflexible. It then cracks as the pipe flexes and the original problem returns. Even if used with the fiberglass wraps, the dried putty will still crack. In my case, the best solution was to replace the flex section and be done with it. That's what I ended up doing.

No. I found the best repair is to just replace the pipe. For my vehicle, I ended up just replacing everything (Cat, Muffler and pipe) down pipe of the exhaust manifold pipe w/ aftermarket product. Cost less than $200.

If the hole is in the part of the pipe that flexes, it will not work. The puddy sets up like hard plastic. It will only work onsomething stationary.
Product Owner - m_fountaine
No, anything that is flexible or moves, it will cruble and fall out.
