Permatex High-Strength Threadlocker Red is ideal for heavy-duty applications 3/8" to 1" (10mm to 25mm) Red threadlocker is well-suited for permanently locking studs and press fits. Threadlocker RED adds 3,000 PSI holding power on slip and press fit assemblies, and replaces set screws and snap rings. Permatex's Threadlocker Red locks against vibration loosening. May require heat or special tools for removal.

What's not to like. You apply it to the threads, screw in the bolt, torque it to specs, and with complete confidence, you can expect it to hold indefinitely.

This Permatex Red High Strength 271 Threadlocker, 36ml Bottle (Part # 27140) is compatible to use for cylinder block, rocker arm studs, ring gear bolts, frame bolts and shock absorber bolts. The compatible spark plug thread locker is currently unavailable online. I would suggest that you visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store to check the availability of this part.
