      • Q:

What is the value of using a 'transmission fluid flush kit' before dropping the pan?
Asked on 8/4/2015 by Dr. Ed from Lago Vista TX

        1 answer

Hello Dr Ed! A transmission flush will get most of the larger particles and old transmission fluid out of the transmission. Dropping the pan will just get the fluid that is in the bottom of the transmission. And the kit linked will have the filter and the gasket for the transmission oil pan. Be sure to enter your vehicle information on our website to check the fit of this part before purchasing.

It is the complete assembly, no other parts are required. It is recommended to replace both the front driver side and front passenger side wheel hub assembly at the same time.
