Good for high-temp applications
Because it's thick and sticky, it's easy to put this grease only where you want it, and it will stay there. It can also make some parts easier to assemble. Perfect for caliper slides, and as an anti-vibration anti-squeak for the backs of pads.

Not a miracle product
There is nothing special about this product. Like another reviewer mentioned, there is no guarantee this product will fix your squeaks or guarantee good operation. The appearance of the product is not reassuring. It is more of a translucent blue gel, not a thick grease. Do not be surprised if it starts to dry tacky and pasty within a few weeks. I have used an entire tube on one brake caliper position within two months because the gel gets easily contaminated and drys out even after replacing all rubber caliper hardware. I am currently looking for an alternative (maybe CRC products) but it is possible that I may need a new caliper. This product does not deserve one star because it is in a reclosable tube and it probably works okay as a standard brake grease. DO NOT expect it to fix any hardware problems or squeaks because it is not a miracle product. IMO they missed a critical additive in order to make it more environmentally friendly, so this grease will not hold under high temps or maybe it degrades quickly under high contact pressures.

I bought this for my wife's minivan. It didn't help at all with the squeak in her brakes. Brand new rotors, and pads.
