Used for another purpose
I did not use this as a tie rod puller. I had to replace the wiper transmission on my 2012 Malibu. The wiper arms were stuck hard. I went to by a wiper arms puller even though the reviews were less than stellar. This was sitting right next to it. It looked like it would fit and it looked sturdier so I decided to give it a try. I used my drill and a socket to turn the bolt on the tool and both wiperarms were off in a minute.

Small size and no returns
This is small size. I tried to fit it to remove the ball joint for an Odyssey tie rod. It did not fit and slides on one end.
Finally I used a pry bar and hammer for the job.
Also, advance auto of Jersey city rt 440 refused to take it back. I had the packaging intact and within 20 days of buying. They just said that since this is used they can't sell it again and won't take it back.
Disappointed. I actually tried buying another tie tod puller from advance auto that too did not work and no returns. I tried to return the second only after few days. I tried the job long after buying parts and tools from advance auto.
Does not fit completely making it useless
Trying to replace outer rods on a 11 Corolla and the tool will not completely enter the rod making it completely useless.

Not for SUV or Trucks
This product or tool is for small cars such as Sedans. This tool is not for SUV or Trucks. If you're looking foward to use this for your SUV or Truck, it won't work. I wish the description was more precise and described what the tool will fit. Not advertising, but if you want a lifetime warranty on this tool I recommend Northern Tool + Equipment since this tool only has a 30 day warranty if defective. Will be keeping the tool since I have use for it on sedans.
Wouldn't buy it again
Product or tool doesn't even fit properly. Definitely does not fit on big cars such as SUVs or Trucks. Tried using it on my Sedan and all it does is move away when trying to screw the tool down onto the tie rod end. I recommened getting a different tool. Gonna go return this product.
